STEATITE

LOW-IRON · MAGNESIUM SILICATE

Steatite

Low-iron magnesium silicate media for contamination-sensitive milling.

Steatite (magnesium silicate) media offers a true density of 2.6 g/cm³ with very low iron pick-up and low heat build-up during extended grinding cycles. These properties make it the established choice for white and light-coloured pigments, ceramic bodies and electrical porcelain, where colour integrity and chemical purity are essential.
